How to Read a Rumour
Consider the Source
A rumour from a harbour clerk carries different weight than one from a Shardcaller field adept. Both could be lying. Both could be right. The source is part of the information.
Some Are Old
Rumours travel slowly and change in the telling. A detail that was accurate a month ago may have shifted. The world moves whether or not you’re watching it.
None Were Accidents
In Scalethorn, information has owners. If something found its way to you, ask who wanted you to hear it — and what they expected you to do next.
